This study assessed the Synchronous Radio Broadcast and Computer Skills on undergraduates’ Attitude to Basic Computer Operations in National Open University Centers in Southwestern Nigeria. The study adopted pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental design. Two National Open University study centres (Ibadan and Lagos) were randomly selected from south-western Nigeria. Two hundred and twenty-two of 100 level degree programmes participated in the study. The intact classes were randomly assigned to SYB (98) and conventional (124) instructional delivery modes. Instruments used were Students’ basic computer operations attitude scale (r= 0.86), Students’ computer skills test (r= 0.84) and instructional guides. The results revealed that treatment had a significant main effect on students’ attitudes to basic operations in computer skills(F(2,219)= 21.73; partial ŋ2=.90). Students exposed to SYR had the highest attitudinal mean score (78.75) and control groups (49.03). Therefore, Synchronous radio broadcast is effective in enhancing undergraduates’ learning attitude towards Basic computer operations in National Open University of Nigeria. It was, therefore, recommended that distance learners’ facilitators adopt synchronous radiobroadcast for their instructional delivery.
