Abstract

This is an in-depth study of Internet Literacy Skills among physical science students of theUniversity of Benin. Survey design was applied by using questionnaire to collect data from 265undergraduate students in the faculty of physical sciences at 200 and 300 levels. Data collectedwere analyzed using frequency count and percentage, while null hypothesis test of independencewas tested using chi-square. The research discovered that the students are computer; internet andICT literate as majority of the students possess most of the required internet skills. Some areathat need to be strengthened were highlighted, and the inclusion and teachingof internet and ICTliteracy courses to new undergraduates in the university through orientation and workshop wasrecommended
