Abstract

This paper examines how digital literacy plays a crucial role in improving inclusivity and accessibility in online and remote learning environments. It explores how digital literacy affects students and educators, the role of technology infrastructure in learning outcomes, and the impact of new trends on digital education evolution, acknowledging the interaction between education and technology. Utilizing a combination of methods, the paper incorporates case studies of institutions, surveys of participants, interviews, and a thorough examination of related literature. Previous research has concentrated on three main goals: evaluating levels of digital literacy, examining the accessibility functionalities of digital learning platforms, and assessing stakeholder attitudes towards inclusion. Utilizing triangulation enhances the dependability and thoroughness of the results, offering a solid foundation for the study's conclusions. The paper shows a strong connection between digital literacy and effective participation in remote and online learning settings. The article emphasizes the importance of ongoing professional development for educators in order to establish interactive and inclusive online learning environments. Additionally, technology infrastructure is seen as a necessary foundation to guarantee smooth online learning experiences. New methods like immersive technologies and AI-driven adaptive learning systems are seen as promising ways to improve inclusion and accessibility. The article suggests ways to enhance digital education results: Introduce specific programs to enhance the digital skills of teachers and students. Create consistent training programs for teachers to stay up-to-date on new technology and teaching methods.
